Power of Words Award

powerPower of Words Award

Thankyou Carol

Award created by: http://idealisticrebel.com/

~~The Award~~

I have designed this award because so many feel they can’t change the world. They can. You can. Your words, your blog can educate, raise awareness, change opinions and raise spirits. Through your blog you are reaching people you may never have effected any other way.

So this is for all who click away on the computer with a heart full of love, kindness, compassion and caring. For all of you who write to correct wrongs and injustices. For all of you who work to bring light into our world and hope to people’s lives. You are all heroes in my book.

Please accept this heart-felt award and pass it on to those in your WordPress family who deserve it.

Let’s keep it going for the entire year. May it inspire all with light, words, and love for the human family.

You all know how much I hate rules, so please just

*post the award on your blog*

*thank the person who gave it to you*

*pass it on to those whom you deem worthy*

*let your nominees know*

~~IN MY OWN WORDS~~

(I didn’t just link to wordpress blogs)*

Thanks Carol for this nomination. It was kind of you to share that you are inspired by my blog.

I find your own blog spiritual and heart felt.

The blogs I highly recommend others read for inspiration are:

Carol’s Writer’s Dream

Love the People you Meet

Leanne Cole Photography

Melissa Shaw Smith

Perspectives on Life the Universe and Everything

Artifacts and Fictions

Gail Kavanagh

Spilling Ink

Karen Tyrrell

Gotta Find a Home

In a Room of My Own

Life in a Pumpkin Shell

Anita Heiss

The list could definitely go on but these are the ones I want to encourage you to read if in need of a pick me up or a spark to light your day.

They encourage me to write, connect with community, think deeply about the world, work on my craft in writing or photography, care about others in the world, be grateful and more. But most of all they are more than their written words, they are their words in actions. They walk the talk and their actions speak as loudly as their words.

Some I have met and some may never meet.  But they all use the power of their words.

  1. I’ve seen many blog awards floating around, but this one was truly heart felt and from a dear blogger friend who always encourages me with my work. So I took the opportunity to thank people who share their craft, dreams and lives with the public.

  2. Thanks Leanne. I don’t normally do awards either but it meant a lot to the person nominating and I thought it was the perfect time to share the blogs that I do visit a lot and I liked the premise of this award.
