Dr. June Paisa Perkins, a poet, writer and educator of Mekeo and Australian background, loves to relax singing along to Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones.

She was raised as a Baha’i and considers herself a world citizen, who loves collaborating, consulting, creating and connecting with people of diverse backgrounds and art forms.

June has been inspired by people who paint butterflies on fly away rooves, and who understand nature needs active caring guardians. She is currently working on a Masters of Teaching and finishing her first novels, inspired by Pasifika, Pastoral, Perseverance, and Poetry.

She lives in Brisbane, with her family, and their ever growing number of fish, well trained guinea pigs, and a bird who loves nothing more than whistles and laughter.

  3. That’s okay, it’s also because if I have a guest I interview or reblog on my blog I don’t want to just pass that permission on to all in sundry either. I love most of the blogs of people who follow my blog, but there are sometimes some which are mainly marketing who come and go pretty quickly.

  5. You defiantly seem fun. I am new, just figuring out this blog thing. I saw your smiley face and thought I would like to fallow you. Read your literary work which confirmed it. I to love to write. Especially short stories and poems. This made me feel connected. So, that was the end of that. …I followed. 😊
