“…the ages of darkness have passed away, and the century of light has come. Ignorant prejudices are being dispelled, and the light of unity is shining. The differences existing between nations and peoples will soon be annulled, and the fundamentals of the divine religions, which are no other than the oneness and solidarity of the human race, are being established.”
-Abdu’l-Bahá, The Promulgation of Universal Peace

Sometimes when we’re driving the kids and I (if I am not driving) take photographs. The above photo is one of my favourites. I don’t know which child took it, as they all had a go, but it is a special memory photo now. The sunset was impressive that day and we all thought it looked brilliant from the car.
The camera was a kodak digital, waterproof one that I purchased for my daughter to take on a school camp.
When we can we stop to take photographs like this as it’s a bit easier than we are moving, but other times it’s impossible to find a safe spot to do so, so we take them from the car, with the window wound down, and camera strap firmly wrapped around the camera person’s wrist. Here is another photo with more of a view of the water and trees.
